Me olvide el Renault en la cochera (Hace un Siglo)

Corria la primera década del Siglo XX   cuando una acaudalada familia del exterior trajo a la Perla del Atlantico (hoy ciudad feliz-Mar del Plata) unos de sus autos. Enviado en barco desde Francia, para utilizarlo durante sus vacaciones.

Inicialmente depositado en una cochera para su guarda, hizo dos o tres paseos (Iglesia, carnavales, sierra de los padres) para luego quedar en el olvido en un rincon del estacionamiento.

A partir de 1922  los propietarios no volvieron a vacacionar y por ende a utilizar el auto, momento en el cual los responsables de su cuidado (dueños de la cochera) deciden comprarlo y conservarlo. Permaneció alli desde entonces, practicamente sin uso hasta que fue exportado a Irlanda en el año 2004 por quien escribe esta líneas.

Renault 1909 14HP carrocería tipo Landaulette hecha por Henri Binder en su Francia natal, condición original, pintura, tapizados, accesorios en un estado inmaculado gracias al cariño, dedicación y  excelente criterio de sus dueños y quienes lo tuvieron a su cuidado por tres generaciones en su Familia.

I FORGOT THE RENAULT IN THE GARAGE….. A CENTURY AGO!

It was in the first decade of the twentieth century when a wealthy family from abroad brought to the Pearl of the Atlantic (now happy city -Mar del Plata) one of their cars.

Sent by boat from France, for use during vacation. Initially placed in a carport for it guardian, the car made two or three trips (Church, carnivals, some mountain trip) and then it was forgotten in a corner of the parking lot.

From 1922 the owners never returned to Argentina on vacation, and therefore, to use the car. At that time those responsible for their care (garage owners) decide to buy it and keep it. It remained there ever since, virtually unused until it was exported to Ireland in 2004 by the writer of these lines.
